Sugar is a special product being essential for vital functions of human beings and an important strategic raw material. It is one of the mass food products on the world market where the produce of JSC “Gorodeya Sugar Refinery” is in great demand.

Nowadays, JSC “Gorodeya Sugar Refinery” has leading positions among the sugar enterprises of the Republic of Belarus. To hold the current positions, we have to work continuously on technological and production advancement, increase the capacity of sugar beet processing up to 12 tons per day, increase of quantity and quality of the procured beet.

To stay competitive on the domestic and foreign markets, we continuously develop diversification of the manufactured products. In 2010, the production lines for pressed sugar in form of cubes and "bridge" (card suits) were installed. For the first time, new products have been offered for the sugar market in Belarus: i.e. pressed sugar with natural additives (cinnamon, vitamin C, with taste of lemon), as well as brown sugar “Gorodeya  Amber” which is unique in its technology.

We also develop new products based on using sugar as one of the main components. In the beginning of 2011, we brought in exploitation a department of fruit produce. Owing to this, we have an opportunity to produce apple jam, as well as semi-finished fruit products and fillings, marmalades in large assortment.

We have been doing a persistent work on searching of new export markets. Our production is much in demand in more than nineteen countries near and far abroad. Sugar export, mainly, has been realized through the official importers in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Georgia.

The key point of our business is not to stop at the level achieved but move ahead with new tasks and objectives. The future of JSC “Gorodeya Sugar Refinery” depends on what we are thinking of and what we are doing today!
